American Cancer Society | June 2015 - February 2017
User Experience Architect
Sole UX Architect for the re-design of the original FUNdraising App for iOS and Android, which was a simple donation acceptance app that processed credit card and check payments. This redesign combined the functionality of three apps (ACS fundraising, Relay For Life and Making Strides) to create a more robust, branded app to encourage and improve fundraising through gamification and added functionality.
Interviews with users, stakeholders and local fundraisers for FUNdraising as well as knowledge of comparable event fundraising sites quickly brought me into the fold to help create a mobile-friendly event site structure. Performed a complete content inventory and page audit of both Relay For Life and Making Strides. Met with lead volunteers and fundraisers from around the country. Utilized this research and ongoing learnings to create the site map, prototype and registration flow in an evolving state.
Assisted on massive cancer.org project, create the template inventory, mobile wireframes, and participate in user acceptance testing for desktop and mobile.

I recommend her for anything that she wants to do, because I believe in her. If she doesn't know it today, she will bust her butt to make sure she knows it tomorrow, and that's what I feel a true alchemist/innovator is.

Chanelle Henry - UX Peer @ BlueWolf

She was fast, reliable, easy to talk to, you name it. The best designers are the ones that keep you from worrying about the details because you know it's all going to be taken care of beautifully.

Ryan Taylor - CD @ 22squared

Jessica is a firecracker. She has a relentless can-do attitude, and her kind and fun loving spirit is highly contagious.
